PSU students take first place

Eleven of our students attended this year's regional National Student Advertising Competition. They submitted plans for developing a strategic communication plan for
the Century Council, an organization created to help promote responsible drinking among college students and eliminate underage drinking and drunk driving.

It is with great pride that we announce to you that the PSU team took
1st Place!

The judges were very impressed by both the creativity and continuity of the campaign plans book and the engagement and flow of the presentation/pitch. The team was able to demonstrate that PSU SBA's students have the ability to develop strategy for more than just
traditional goods and services; the team excelled at promoting a socially responsible idea, something that competing teams from J-Schools and Communication Schools no doubt consider their area of expertise.

During the first week of June the team will compete nationally in
Arlington, VA against 15 of the best advertising teams across the
country. Please wish them well as they reach for national gold.
